BENCO Electric Cooperative has many power lines buried underground. When beginning a project that requires digging or breaking ground, protect yourself and your property by calling Gopher State One Call at 811 or 800-252-1166, 48 hours prior to the start of the project.

This free-of-charge-service is required by the State of Minnesota and will locate all underground utility lines that may be buried. You will need to provide your name, phone, address, dig location, nearest intersection, type of work planned and the project’s start date and time. Learn more by using the Locate Request Guide below.
