Dual Fuel PROGRAM
BENCO Electric Cooperative offers the Dual Fuel program as a method of cost-savings to all members. In the program, members who install electric heating appliances in their home receive a reduced energy rate for the enrolled appliances.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
BENCO offers two rate options for charging your electric vehicle at home: the Storage rate and the Time-of-Use rate. The Off-Peak Storage rate offers the lowest price, while the Time-of-Use program provides the most flexibility.

ELECTRIC STORAGE PROGRAM
The Storage Program allows members to receive a reduced energy rate when allowing BENCO to control their systems / appliances from 7:00 am - 11:00 pm.

Interruptible Water Heating
Interruptible Water Heating allows BENCO to control your Marathon water heater during peak periods. BENCO will provide controllers and pay for installation of the controller except when the member is already on or will be on a reduced rate.

GENERATOR PEAK-SHAVING
BENCO members participating in the Interruptible Commercial and Industrial Generator Program can complete the 2024 Opt-In / Opt-Out Enrollment form required by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
