FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Sometimes, members may find themselves experiencing financial hardship. Fortunately, help is available for members unable to pay their electric bills. In addition to one of Minnesota’s utility payment protection laws, BENCO will make every effort to work together and resolve past due accounts.
Prevent Disconnection: If you are behind on paying your electric bill, contact BENCO Electric Cooperative at 507-387-7963 to set up payment arrangements. BENCO will work with payment arrangements if contacted prior to the disconnect date.
Before applying for shut-off protection, applicants must read and acknowledge the Notice of Residential Member Rights.
